When I was writing this chapter, tucked away in the corner of my closet (yes, I write in my closet, lol), there was so much to consider. I wanted to focus on the transition of Graysonās emotions: before the performance, during it, and then after, especially when he realized his family wasnāt there.
When I first wrote that scene, I thought, ālol that sucks.ā But sitting then back, looking, and then reading after writing it
I was like, āDamnā¦ that sucks.ā
Cause, like, imagine! Yall already know this but Grayson has trouble expressing himself, he puts other peopleās feeling and emotions above himself and the only way he thought for the first time he could express his words isnāt through the song necessarily but the guiter, music without out words, specifically he was drawn to an Electric guiter. He felt like for the first time he could find a way to express himself.
It wasnāt that they didnāt come, it was that he was opening his heart out to them, and they never saw. ššš or felt or heard.
āPeter wanted to share his heart, to share the words that he couldnāt say out loud, the tears he couldnāt shed, and the love he always expressed.ā

Then came the phone call, My gosh! Let me tell yall something, I was heart broken, Ngl after writing the phone call I didnāt write for like a good hour, and I was done with that in like 30 min!
Guys I had to take breaks inbetween! Bro I justāGaHHh it sucks it really does, and Jasonās voice message to me was the one that got me, like ššššš why did I have to write that!

For his anger, I wanted him to be upset, but but like a teen upset but also controlled cause, I donāt know how to describe it! But I know I did pretty good, and the sad thing was, he only reacted that way cause no one was home.
If anyone was home he wouldāve reacted completely differently.

Then being left alone for three days! BRO! And then he finds out three days later that Jasonās dead! XD.
