New interview with Phoebe and Mike Moran. I haven’t had time to watch the full 90 minutes, but I watched a couple segments and the very end especially is quite sweet :)
Heh, just something a bit funny and a bit 💀
This is from the recap of Phoebe's visit to Japan a couple of days ago. If anyone remembered me saying I had my own long unfiltered opinion on Phoebe, I was waiting for this visit. That'll be a separate post... again when I have the energy lol. Full link:
Since my replies are already for followings only, your unfiltered opinions there are welcome 😁
Thank you @archmerale - shared this a month ago and we even discussed it then but I completely forgot for some reason...
Two days ago The Sun published a sensationalist piece about Kash spending millions for the Sotheby's auction. One of the purchases supposedly include Freddie black jacket that he wore for his 39th birthday party.
While it's highly possible to be true (and given Mary's known behaviour it wouldn't be hard to believe), here's that mountain grain of salt you must take when reading from any trash like The Sun. The above is a post (via Natale Brambilla) from 15 March which shows that someone else had bought that jacket (Apicella Salvatore), along with the white jacket and the shoes. (The Magic Tour shirt was from another purchase/auction).
Yes it's entirely possible for the core story to be true, that Kash made purchases at the auction, and that the details of which objects she bought was the mistake. I haven't checked through the lots if there were two of these jackets (there were certainly more than one similar leotards, shoes, and other clothes) nor do I have the energy to. Maybe OP will indulge my question and provide some explanation.
A little off-topic but not too far away. I'm wondering if the group of collectors organizing the exhibition in Budapest next year might know more about this, they'd certainly be more diligent with the complete catalogue especially those which aren't shown on the website. Might ask around, but this entire auction has Draining vibes ever since it was announced and I honestly wouldn't have been this nosy if it weren't for my need of bare-minimum, amateur archiving, so idk we'll see.
And on a further, more opiniated note, keeping in mind that Phoebe is the advisor / sponsor / whatever of the Budapest exhibition, I'm wondering where exactly he stood in all this. He had certainly defended the auction in public saying that Mary had every right to sell what she liked. Yet now he becomes somewhat of a steering committee for collectors with access to these purchased items COMBINED... Has anyone reached out to Kash? Has Phoebe, or any of the collectors, done that? Understandably as the Garden Lodge Man or whatever he brands himself as today, collectors hail him to be the source of truth for the backstory of their items. In fact, this was specifically promised as an incentive for collectors to participate in lending their items for the exhibition:
A story from Peter will be created for each of the items at the exhibit. Each will be personally signed by Peter Freestone which provides the authentic background story of [their] property.
Now knowing Kash's (possible) interest and determination for the auction items, the lack of her involvement in this project raises so many (biased) questions for me. Did they try to approach her at all? Did she reject? Or did they not, because they did not consider her familial needs or forgot about her and focused more on getting these Stories of Objects in Garden Lodge? Is Phoebe even in good terms with Kash? Did he offer Kash to look at these collected items? Did they meet back then at the auction preview? Does she even know these are being collected now for exhibition? Did anyone offer to GIVE her anything? So many questions, all accusatory, yes, but no less valid.
Sorry that went off to a rant, but it will be interesting to see how this whole thing develops. Kash has always deserved better and I hope she gets to see AND take home what she can get from this stupid auction.
I told myself I wasn’t gonna watch this whole thing in one sitting and yet here we are
This just came out today. Has some nice stories about Freddie and the band

You could contact the Queen fanclub about the quilt, they might help getting the news to Phoebe?
Oh I didn’t think about this! Thanks for the idea, I just might!
