I love it specifically for one thing: the Dorian and Alan scene

At first it feels fairly normal, nothing out of the ordinary for a movie from the 1970s

Then Dorian is standing in front of Alan, unbuttoning his jacket in a way I can only describe as sensual.

He sits with Alan, again fairly normal dialogue, very faithful to the book

Then, with the line "Alan, it was murder." It straight up. looks like Dorian is about to kiss Alan

And I always react very normally to that

Of course, there is more very heterosexual cuddling/pleading.

Then, once pleading doesn't work, Dorian starts the blackmailing.

After presenting the letter about vague immoral things that Dorian will send somewhere, Alan drops to his knees

After Alan has complied, he writes the note of supplies he needs which Dorian looks over and hands off. Then, he makes this face

Harry: “You’re malnourished, running on adrenaline. Close to exhaustion.”

Lucas: “So where do I go? You want me to go and watch pay-per-view in a Holiday Inn? Catch up on eight years of Coronation Street? Where do I go, Harry? What am I supposed to do when I get there? Just tell me and I’ll go and I’ll do it.”

Harry: “I’m giving you clearance till midnight on Sunday. After that, you rest. Then we’ll talk some more. Properly.”

Lucas: “Have you seen her?”

Harry: “She’s well…and happy.”

Lucas: "Meaning?”

Harry: "It’s good to see you, Lucas. You were missed.”
