Horror movie idea: shot entirely from the victim's perspective. You never see their face, only through their eyes. Every time the victim is sight is blurred/gone, fuzzy/blacked out screen; hearing, muffled/muted sound. No monsters or magic, just real world scenarios. For extra trauma, theatre seats kick, shake, pulse with victim's heartbeat, and constrict as necessary.
Bonus level: relevant smells are released through the air vents, temperatures rising and dropping as film dictates.
