An Aroace Baker Ghost holding a loaf of garlic bread 🧡💛🤍💙👻🍞
So I'm back on schedule with this new ghostie (the first up on my Etsy shop), dressed in a mushroom apron trimmed with the aroace flag colors. Starting out with a plain base and some orange clay, I rolled the clay out into a flat shape and wrapped that around the base. Using some smaller pieces, I made the apron strings in the back. And to attach the bread, I used a bit of metal wire with bent ends and mad sure that was secure. And after baking, came the somewhat and time consuming part, painting. Originally I painted the entire thing with the aroace flag colors, but decided to paint the bodice of the apron top blue, to match the handkerchief and to also make the figure a bit less bright. So after deciding to leave the entire bottom part of the apron part as is, I decided the top needed something else, so I went with mushrooms and small glitter star dots. To match the forest theme I was running with at this point, I added yellow flowers to the handkerchief. The final detailing was painting the spices on the garlic bread loaf and adding the face. And then finished this complicated but well worth it pride ghost :)
Happy pride to everyone 🏳️🌈 (no I will not stop saying this till pride ends)
