Modern. It's hard to picture her settling unless she was settling with someone. She has many places she stays. Including her parents' villa. Tho, I do picture something like the pics below. Something where the "yard" is the sea. And something kind of modest in size. Secluded / away from the "busy". Intimate. Hotels are big, too. The maid and room service ... someone else "taking care of her" kind of thing.

Galaxie & Fantasy settings ... and the concept above pairs well with the concept I have for the made-up planet or island Belarilia. Something built into the world. Half the "castle" is underground, as the common for people dwellings in these verses. Concepts ... concepts ... very inspired by structures in the French Rivera, Italian grottos, Greece, mediterranean coast, etc.

Galaxie & Fantasy Verse. There's a animal friend. He's wild, not a pet, but she leaves the window/door open (depending on where she's sleeping that night) often. And he can sometimes be seen lingering around her in the distance. She calls him "Cubbie". Listen ... I mean this affectionately, but he's a little "ugly" and very noddle-like but he's cuddly and scares some weak away, so.

ㅤㅤㅤHe's falling.  Pearlescent wings are torn apart, bloodied, and spat out by a ravenous beast. He's never able to make out the monster before the beautiful dragon sacrifices itself to save his life. Torrential rainfall bites at his skin as he falls toward a never-ending abyss. Above him, the awful monster that had tried to devour him lets out a roar. It shakes him to his very core, overwhelming his senses as the abyss creeps closer and closer. He tries feebly to reach for anything he can in the open expanse of the sky, but ultimately resigns himself to his fate. Tomorrow he will drift off to a fitful sleep and endure this very same nightmare as he had for months on end. His only comfort is the faint sensation of lips against his forehead and the utterance, "my sweet boy." ㅤㅤㅤFlounder is what they called him. They had found him on the beach, broken and bloody but alive. This family who had lost a son to the sea had been blessed with another, delivered in a mess of netting and torn clothing. He had spent two weeks unconscious, bandaged from head to toe, but was miraculously unscarred from his ordeal. Flounder was quick to recover, urged by unfamiliar memories of fishing and sailing upon the open sea. He fell into the routine of a simple fisherman, venturing out with his adopted father before returning home with their catch. If this was all he had never known he was happy. But then the nightmares started and awful headaches followed. They originated from where soft lips had kissed him in a hazy collection of memories that now plagued him.

ㅤㅤㅤHaunted by that reoccurring nightmare he had became withdrawn. He remembered nothing before waking up in this little shack with his parents doting over his broken body. Something was off. Flounder just couldn't put his finger on it, and it bothered him to no end. When he tried to think it felt as if his entire head was wrapped in something soft and gauzy. Within that whiteness everything seemed drained of color and significance. It had taken the roar of a dragon to force everything back into focus. Outside his parents were rightfully panicked by a yellow beast who had perched itself on the beach. From its back a woman descended and made her way toward the trio. Flounder had dressed quickly and now stood, tucked behind his adopted mother's back as if to shield him from her. ㅤㅤㅤ"Bow, Flounder. That's the queen!" His father urges as he gives Rhaenyra a deep bow. Flounder doesn't budge. He only watches her approach with a steely resolve. This woman and her mighty beast didn't frighten him in the slightest. "What business do you have here?" Flounder asks, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at the queen who didn't look particularly noble to him. Though he had never seen a queen, but imagined they wore fancy gowns and crowns studded with jewels. It was unknown to the simple boy why they would ride a dragon and trespass upon the homes of meager fishermen.

𝐍𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆, 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐄 rhaenyra's new babe. said she needed some time to bond with him, to adjust to having another child. said that too many visitors would not be good for the babe yet helaena did not believe her mother. they all sounded like excuses more than anything ! usually, the princess was not so ... persistent, pushy, with her mother. with anything. ( she would rather concede, save an argument, than be involved in confrontation with someone. it made her nervous, uncomfortable, she'd found. ) however, with some slightly sweeter words she had managed to get her mother to say yes. & in no time did helaena find herself knocking on her elder sisters chamber door, opening it softly in chase the babe was asleep. stepping inside, she closes it just as softly before coming to stand before rhaenyra. hands are clasped together behind her back, ❛ may i see him ? ❜ asked outright, lips pressing together as eye break their momentary contact with rhaenyra.
