Tríkala, Thessaly | | Greece moodboards (11 / ?)
Kóziakas gave birth to our moody songs Piniós cooled our silky evenings Lithaeos the stream in front of our house warned the wild birds that the darkness would soon fall, that they would get covered by the night.
For forty days it was raining on the top of our roof, I can still see through the fine raindrops the banners of Spring in the dark fields of November, in the angry fireplaces, draped with wool.
- Excerpt from the poetic composition “Trikala” by Nikos Pappas (1906 - 1997)
It’s been more than a year since the last Greece moodboard. Send me a mainland prefecture or an island and I might start working on this again (no promises).
