THE FACT THAT PETER LIKES STILES AND STILES OPENLY LOATHES EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM AND ACTIVELY TRIES TO FUCK HIM OVER IS MY FAVOURITE THING OKAY. also it’s not really a friendship but i’m endlessly amused by the idea of peter trying to dad malia constantly and she’s just like lmao nah fuck off (slightly related: would like canon divergence fic where peter kidnaps malia and stiles tbh)

general opinions: like, i like peter but i hate hate HATE how so much of this fandom writes him. he’s a really fun villain antagonist who is completely irredeemable which is a good thing, it makes him interesting! because peter plays at being “”good”” or at least as close as he can get to it. he made himself valuable and useful to the pack, so no one would second guess him when he finally puts his plans into motion and leads them right into a trap. peter’s been proven time and time again to be a bad person, even before the fire!! yet this fandom’s insistence on writing him as good or misunderstood drives me fucking up the wall.

his best characterization by fandom was during s2 but then after he resurrection when he started to act “”helpful”“—A RESURRECTION BTW THAT HE ACHIEVED BY TORTURING A TEENAGE GIRL FOR MONTHS—it was like, oh wait he’s suddenly a good guy!! he was just misunderstood!! despite the aforementioned torturing-of-a-teenager, biting scott without his consent (which also gets glossed over by a chunk of the fandom), admitting that luring laura back to beacon hills and murdering her was pre-meditated and orchestrated (which often gets put on peter’s nurse), the killing spree in s1, the fact that peter wanted scott to murder his friends in order to join his pack. AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON 3A OKAY.
