i don't think it has anything to do with connor being native american, they just want to move on to new characters. making another game for connor just because of his ethnicity is, well, stupid if they don't have an actual story for it.

I honestly respectfully think that you're wrong there. As far as story-wise, they have plenty to work with. There's the French Revolution, perfectly set up in Connor's time, there's rebuilding the Brotherhood because Connor is now the only Assassin in America as far as we know, there's a whole bunch of stuff they could do that they threw hints out for, such as Lafayette inviting Connor to Paris, such as Juno telling Connor "leading is for later" and "you have made a difference and you will do so again". Plus, they said themselves they're trying to explore "the Kenway saga". There's so many unanswered questions with his character, a big one being that he must have had a child at some point or else Desmond would never have even been born, but there was no romantic interest in the game. And what does he do after he's succeeded in killing all the targets he'd set out to in AC3? At the end of Forsaken he's shown to have a plan.

from what i’ve seen, i think if you’re the cautious ‘collect everything, complete everything, upgrade everything before proceeding with the plot’ type, you wouldn’t have that many problems with the game. but idk

nah, it isn’t that hard. i’m in sequence 6 and so far there hasn’t been a mission that has took me more than three tries. you just have to make sure to upgrade your ship. :)
