#personal stuff sort of

For those of you following along at home you’ll know I’ve been busy the last couple of months with the daughter’s wedding and the woes that went with it. I have spent the last seven days in the Whitsundays off the coast of Queensland (1800 klms away from where we live) attending the event. And what an event it’s been. Favourite book/series: So many, latest though the Aurora Rhapsody series Favourite scent: don’t know that I have a favourite but I do like a few – vanilla, the ocean, rain (which I believe is called petrichor) and peach Favourite animal: I’ve had dogs, cats and birds (a back yard full of aviaries) so I guess they’d qualify.  Coffee, tea or hot cocoa?: All of them, depends on the time of day and the weather.

Dream trip: Probably back to England to see family and follow up on family genealogy. Or New Zealand to visit Hobitton. Not counting the time it took me to cast on 332 stitches, I spent about four hours knitting just the sweater vest yesterday and didn't even get through an inch of the inch and a half hem. Granted, the first couple rounds always go a bit slower as I get into the rhythm (and I do have to stop to answer calls, which slows me down), but even still. This thing is probably going to take me longer than the last sweater I did (which had sleeves and was also several inches longer than this vest will be).

I'll probably work on the arm warmers mostly today so I can start getting Christmas gifts crossed off the list soon. Plus, these little projects will go relatively fast and I think that'll help keep me motivated, instead of feeling like I'm just slogging through a single never-ending project at a time.

I just recently started binging it because it was all over my dash and i was like ‘yea sure why not’ aND NOW. never ending screaming basically but!!

FIRST OF ALL all the characters are just aces just purely amazing just the pinnacle of my children i can not deal with this i am crying. CORAN HAS SOMEHOW MANAGED TO BECOME MY TOP FAVE AND I JUST?? why do i love this man so much- but more realistically what isn’t there to love about him because just the accent and the humor and the ‘we were suppose to think you were a boy?’ and the kNOWLEDGE AND THE FIGHTING AND.... i never usually go for secondary/sideish characters (at the very least characters not the main stars of action) as my faves but this boy has managed to claim my heart and i’m just,,, Jesus help me.

AND GOD SPEAKING OF, the Pidge hcs and holy fuck the Pidge hcs. and Allura is so strong and i am so gay and after episode 10 i lowkey ship her and shiro but like really lowkey i’d like to see them develop more as friends bUT DID U SEE THOSE HEART EYES SHIRO HAD WHEN SHE SHOWED OFF HER STRENGTH or maybe that was just me projecting because i had to rewatch that scene and the one when she was closing the door a few times because man i’m gay. and the humor oh God the humor its so different and just?? the banter between them, and everyone really just how everyone interacts its just so!! i kind of thought it was falling into that dubbed type of humor where they made unrelated jokes to try and make the convo flow more, buT NO!! this is real, this is really real humor and just its hard to explain but i’m in love with it okay.

following the train of episode 10 tho ohhh my God owlmask man kill me now oh my Lord. i’m in aesthetic heaven please juST PLEASE with his mask and his smoke powers and the quintessence lightning and just thIS IS HOW YOU DO A CHARACTER DESIGN YES THANK YOU WOWIE.

hunk also needs his own paragraph post because i’m just,,, so emotional over him,,,, he’s so pure and so me tbh like when they saved the Balmera and his initial reaction was to bend down and coo at it while giving it ‘scratchies’ like God bless that is 10 to 1 something i would do in a heartbeat. and he’s so smart as well as being the stereotypical chubby food aholic? like that second part isn’t soooo great but man just that he’s!!! so!!! smart!!! like ahh i really wish all of them had more character development but i guess with all the nonstop action its something i’ll just have to be patient for but!!!
