2016′s summary: it pretty much sucked.
It’s been an awful year, both globally and personally. And you know what the funny thing is? I thought it was going to be perfect. April has been, without a doubt, the happiest month of my life, but I guess the universe takes this balance thing seriously and 2016 went from being perfect to be the worst year of my life. Even the memory of April is not a comfort anymore, it’s just painful.Â
But you know what they say? You’ve got to hit the bottom before starting to climb back up. That’s what I’m doing. I’m climbing back up and turning my life around. I’m changing everything. And yes, change is scary, but it can also be refreshing.Â
During this year I’ve been through a lot... and I survived. And you know what? Now I know that if I survived through this bloody, wretched year, I can make it through pretty much anything.Â
I would say “always look forward”, but I know that you can’t help looking back from time to time. So look both ways. Glance behind your back all you want, but don’t forget to turn back around.
I now have a twitter account, which I’m sure I’m going to fill with silly nonsense.
I’m currently writing my thesis for uni and it’s about Doctor Who. I’ve been fine while I was writing the chapters about the first nine Doctors, but now I’ve just finished writing the one about Ten and I’m moving on to Eleven and I’m slowly and painfully dying of feels. Send help.
