Spoons had a tendency to show up when she wanted and where she wanted, but it had been months since Vi had last seen Spoons. It had been right after a large bandit ambush that she’d gone missing. The only proof that spoons had even been there was the beat up remnants of one of her arms. After that, it had been presumed that Spoons simply had not made it.
So it was perhaps a little of a shock when a knock sounded at Violet’s door.
“Vi, baby, it’s me! Open up!”
