#i mean i've had musical hallucinations since i was a young adolescent but there was a long dry spell where i thought i'd grown out of them #until like sophomore? year of college #and now they're more frequent and varied #and the crackles and pops in my ears when things are too loud are activated by a wider range of sounds and at lower volumes and i H8 that #like even just one friend talking too loudly in a relatively acoustically dry room #or my computer on three + volume notches #rip my ability to enjoy solo piano too at the last concert i went to i could barely hear the music over the Noise in my ears (brain)#i'd like to ask my grandfather for more details about his #experience with musical hallucinations/synesthesia etc. or my uncle #but idk how that could happen #ros.txt #pers0nal #d3lete later

One of the worst fucking feelings is the sadness in your parents’ voices when they tell you “I know you’re trying your best. I’m proud of you for never giving up even though it’s been so hard.”

You know they love you. You know mean it. But you know they’re even sadder than you are that your best is never good enough, especially since there’s nothing they or you can do to fix it.
