First of all Perona didn’t even noticed she was hugged back, but when she finally did, she blinked in irritation, before she let out a happy scream and just hugged the teddy a bit tighter. That was absolutely fantastic to have a teddy who was cuddling back. He was alive, at least partly. This was better than having zombies.
“You cuddled back. This is amazing,” she said, holding him a bit afar to look at his black teddy eyes. “Can you talk as well?”Â
The happy scream had Teddy blinking with surprise, never had someone been quite so excited to encounter a living toy before. Having a grown woman do it also seemed a little out of place but the toy wasn’t going to complain. A hug tighter than ever was received and Teddy could not help but indulge even if it was crushing the stuffing inside of their body. Â
If they had lips the bear would have pouted at being pulled away from the warm chest. Â Lifting their little paws the toy poked at the vacant gap on its face where a mouth should, surely that and the silence that responded to the question give a loud answer. Teddy could not talk.
