she stood before him with a brow arched as she took some gauze to the cut over his eyebrow. she pressed the alcohol drenched material to the wound and bit into her lower lip. eleanor tipped her head to the side and sighed, "as much as i love the possessive nature and your absolute need to fight for me, i don't want you to have to get hurt like this. it's not usually like you," she murmured and pressed a kiss to his forehead for a moment before taking a deep breath. she brushed her thumb over the cut in his lip and checked the bruises he had in several different places. "i told you i'm not worth the injuries, but you persist anyway." she snorted and grabbed his hands to check his busted knuckles. she pressed kisses to them and felt his hand rest against her thigh as she stood between his legs. "do you want ice for your hands? i have some pain medication, too. what else would make you feel better?" she asked softly and rested her forehead against his.
