i love yuri rarepairs <3 perona is one of my favorite characters so i couldn't not include the main ship i have for her!
i think what perona needs in a partner is someone that's able to match her levels of silliness. she's very outgoing and has no filter, so i feel like the best match for her would be someone that would be intrigued by these traits of hers, rather than bothered by them. thinking about this is what made me come to the conclusion that koala would be her perfect match! she's as extroverted as perona, maybe a bit warmer and a bit less easygoing, but those little differences are what make them click so well.
also, i feel like both of them lack a girl friend. like, a friend who's a girl. they both deserve someone who understands them and helps the other destress. i'm sure constantly dealing with zoro and mihawk stresses perona out a lot, and the same goes for koala, who's forced to always look after sabo; they need a space to relax and feel cared for. i just believe they could easily think of each other as a safe place. they would be the greatest slowburn relationship ever... acquaintances to friends to best friends to lovers but it's. like. in the span of years. because both of them would be too scared the other doesn't reciprocate their feelings to actually properly confess. i love them so much
