if you mean the width?? like i.e. the difference between the ask page and a posts permalink page.

On a posts there a dates and notes. So I block the div’s respectively in {block:Date} and {block:Notes} in order for those to not show up on a normal page.

Then i edit the width of the wrapper with a bit of jquery:

Waht the script does: if my wrapper has the class ‘posts_info’ (the part wrapped in {block:Date}) the wrapper width makes space for it (it will be x/’outer’ wide), if it does not it will not (it will be x/’outerPage’ wide).

If you’re trying to achieve something in this manner i highly suggest learning some basic jquery so you can understand and edit the code comfortably

Originally i wanted to just use the {block:Date} feature in the style/css but for some reason it did not work.
