When Charlie imagined what it’d be like when she finally saw him again, given that she didn’t actually opt to live on the sandy beaches the Bahamas provided so beautifully, she said all the right things. She didn’t even stumble over one word. It was super romantic, the choir sang, the audience cheered... There was a white stallion named Max who allowed them to literally ride off into the sunset together---it was all very elaborate. Reality, unfortunately, didn’t quite match up to it. Still, what better back drop than the winter formal? It reminded her of prom, before everything had gone wrong. Things weren’t going to go wrong tonight though, she hoped. There was a speech. A very important, very elaborate speech and all she had to do was open her mouth and let it out. Although, once her eyes had managed to find him (the back of him) she was finding it a little hard to move. Or to stop staring. So it came as somewhat of a surprise when her heel clad feet had managed to carry her over to him, behind him, her mouth opening then closing. There was a speech.
