#PerlesBham Early start this morning for good reason. When mom heard LoL butter was $3 @Western and I only bought 2, she said I needed to get back before sale was over and get more. So at tenish last night (they're open 24/7), I stopped before going home and got 10 lbs. They spent the night in the trunk and I needed to get them to Mom's before sun comes out. Target has a few things I want and took a chance. Their sale started last night, so the place is pretty much deserted. Taking a moment to get my caffeine fix at Target's Starbucks w the free gift card one of my credit card companies sends me every year. Got a window view while I sip, journal and watch the joggers, dog walkers and occasional car pass by below. Happy Black Friday y'all. #Journaling #shopping @Target @Brookwoon #Birmingham

#perlesjournal First stop @marketatpepperplace this morning. The only thing I really needed was honey. And I only buy it in glass jars. Wallace Homestead (veteran owned) filled the bill. Although he had the ubiquitous plastic, he had glass. Visited awhile at the community table on @richardtubbinteriors porch.But on my way out I spotted the It’s Tamale Time tent. And a tamale is one of my favorite breakfasts, so took one to go. And then there were the eggs all gorgeously pastel colored at the Stone Hollow Flower Farm Flowers. Had to have them. And then there were baby goats,so had to go for the ‘awww’ shot. Headed home around 9 w a brief stop at @publix midtown for a few essentials. And not so Essentials - Majool dates. The bagpipes are supposed to start at 8, but they’re warming up under the outside tent right now. Not sure I’ll have room for the free lunch later downtown, but I’ll give it a shot.
