I may not have been in this fandom long but I know how upset people where with Merlins Curse on Gawain and I don’t see it as Gawain being stripped of her queerness but getting more options. When discussing what Merlin did to her attraction to men she said nothing about Gawain’s attraction to women so either it didn’t affect how she felt about women only how she felt about men or she just didn’t mention how it affected her attraction towards women but considering to goal was to keep her from getting heartbroken I doubt Merlin believed a woman could never break your heart. So instead of breaking her chains by seeing her queerness as chains and making her straight. The chains where her limits regarding attraction since they have shown love to be a strength she now is attracted to both sexes. She wasn’t turned straight she just has more options.

With Percival confessing to both Anne and Nasiens after most of the others started acknowledging Nasiens as a woman I’ve seen people see as Percival only being attracted to women but I think gender doesn’t play a role in his attraction. After confessing to both we now know of his feelings and it seems like he might have a similar awareness to these things as he did originally and we know he believed Nasiens to be a boy back in part 1 and had no clue what Nasiens sex would be and seemed to Nasiens as a woman as most of the others started catching on. Looking back with the knowledge of how he is more subtle about showing attraction can see that he was attracted to Nasiens before they where a woman and has treated Nasiens and Anne differently then they treat Donny and since the main way they chose to show Percivals attraction to Anne was by having him grope her you have to remember the back touching scene; he also seems to take pride in being Nasiens’ guinea pig. He was also very interested in taking a bath with Nasiens before knowing what sex they would develop. And there are many more scenes where with the context of his revealed reciprocal feelings show he was attracted to Nasiens before they were seen as a woman. I have come to the belief that gender isn’t a factor in his attraction.
