“nothing.” mia threw what felt like the millionth pregnancy test in the trash and she sat down on the bed with her eyes on the floor. "i'm sorry," she said, her voice as soft as before. "i'm sorry i can't do the one thing a woman is supposed to do.."

aiden smiled when he heard the door slam, because that meant tori would be home. they had been together for a couple of years now but he still got excited to see her again after a day of work. he was just that in love with her. “hey baby.”

          holidays were coming to a near at a damn fast pace and as per usual, lincoln was running late to yet another family dinner. nearly running up the stairs of her apartment complex sporting a BLACK EYE and busted lip, she knew that an argument would spiral OUT OF CONTROL for the pair to show up at the dinner by the time dessert would be served. ‘ babe, i’m home. sorry i’m late. ’ the brunette hollered, un-holstering her weapon and placing it in the safe.

Papers and a couple magazines were scattered around her as she worked despite the distractions from him. “You’re so needy,” she teased with a light laugh as she set her sketch book aside once she was done. “Alright, alright. What was so important it couldn’t wait?” she asked with an amused grin.
