here, now, with the moon shining bright above them, vic doesn't think she knows a better word for it. no expectations, no masks to wear — just the quiet, just good company. she leans into chrissy's side, nudges her gently with an elbow.
"yeah, it'd be nice, huh?" she says after a minute, sighing. "hell, i'd settle for shit just bein' like this like... fifty percent of the time, at this point."
