Can we stop using the word “challenge” to disguise the fact that people are pressuring and inspiring each other into really unhealthy and even life-threatening acts? The Dare has always been a negative cultural force, but it’s taken a stupid level of new life on the internet and it needs to be stopped. No more Tide Pod Challenge, no more Cinnamon Challenge, no more LITERALLY SATAN’S BUTTHOLE HOTTEST PEPPER ON EARTH IN ONE BITE Challenge. Just . . . stop putting your lives on the line and encouraging others to follow you.
