I either want a full villain arc for Penelope where she alienates everyone she knows and embraces her Lady Whistledown persona not that she isn’t already halfway there or I need strong redemption arc where she goes and throughly talks to everyone she wronged, mostly Marina and Eloise. Honestly I think it would be compelling for Marina not to forgive her because of what she did and Penelope having to live with the consequences.
She broke up a perfectly happy relationship because she couldn’t stand to see the man she had a crush on be with someone else! He deserved the truth I will admit but but I understand why Marina felt the need to lie. Not that the choice should have been taken away from her but still. She had no way of knowing he’d accept her as she was until it was too late.
Once that happens we could have a slow burn romance with her and Eloise where Penelope has to earn back her friendship and she ends up falling in love along the way. Idk what happens after that but I think it could be sweet if don’t correctly!
