2 new frogs
both r throwaway designs but i kinda like korere so i’m finding ways to add them to part of the roster. design & character notes under the cut
pekoko’s (she/her) design revolves around earth (name coming from pekopon). the blue in her design is unintentionally both water-like and cloud-like at the same time, i dont like her boots but i couldnt think of anything else to give the blue/etc colour a use in the lower half. her symbol is meant to be a simplified compass, the classic N/E/S/W stuff but also contained in a circle (i didnt want it looking entirely similar to dororo’s)
despite being a throwaway character i won’t use,
pekoko is, naturally, a big fan of the planet earth/pekopon
she has a strong attunement/attachment to the elements of earth and water. if she were a magic user, these would be her most familiar elements
korere’s (they/them) design is based on a canonical object/mineral in the show, koredinite (hence their name). their colours are chosen entirely from a screenshot of said canonical material. since the only decent result that shows up for koredinite in searches is saburo’s reality pen, i figured i wanted to incorporate a kind of koredinite is the material used in saburo’s reality pen; it brings anything drawn with it to life. because of this,
korere is naturally drawn towards artistic jobs, since .. they have a whole bunch of koredinite.Â
anyways. other stuff is,
lowkey inspired by your classic fantasy mail carriers, korere probably runs delivery jobs here and there.
korere is a collector and general fan of rocks, gemstones, and other similar objects.Â
of importance to canon, korere is the owner of betata, panana’s tg3.
korere’s symbol is an exclamation point (!) in the shape of a pen/pencil.Â
also, i figure i should slap this here, idk if anybody out there has potentially considered it but i am comfortable with you kinning my orikeros outside of a select few (you can ask me who). the majority of my orikeros/concepts used in their backstories and development are open for other people to interpret and use for their own ocs, including the orikeros themselves. i’m always down for going into detail about specific characters or events that have happened to characters, especially if you want to use them for yourself (i.e the shtick with tepopo happened to more than just tepopo, and you can use that entire event for one of your own ocs).
