We got to see three different operas in the same evening. Being the theatre kid that I am, I was freaking PUMPED. 

We got to watch the Emperor put on his makeup and get dressed before the show. Everything was so amazingly intricate and it was a thrill to watch. 

well i dont really have a home right now. but the life i was building last year at my uncle’s was very reflective of me i think. more than a place ive lived ever has because before that i always shared a room. so yeah it was very blue and pink! dark navy blues and baby pinks for my curtains and sheets… all string lights and very organized :) i had a shelf for my incense and my glass piece collection! my dry erase calendar was very me. i look forward to having my own space this year so i can continue getting to know myself better as far as the spaces that i occupy

After exploring the Great Wall of China, I wandered from Peking Opera at Liyuan Theatre to Panjiayuan Flea Market to Silk Street to Beijing Shopping Malls to Gui Jie (famous food area called Ghost Street) and so much more in search of the authentic current Beijing lifestyle experience of a lifetime.
