We have a new litter of Shinese babies born on December 21st, right at Christmastime, so they have reindeer names! They will be ready to go to their new homes on Valentine's Day! The girls are written in pink and the boys in blue.

Out of our first litter, we had six puppies. Five that grew normally, and one with probable dwarfism. Mom rejected her pretty early on, and I bottle fed her and took her everywhere with me and cuddled her on my chest to keep her warm. If I had to go somewhere without her, my beautiful best friend who is a professional pet sitter would watch her. I could tell that she really loved her, and because I was so close to her I wanted her to have the best life ever….so when she was ready, my friend became her mommy. This is a birthday collage of her first year. She has remained very small, about 1/3 the size of her littermates. Her little tongue still pokes out, but as you can see she is just adorable. Meet Ozzie, the newest member of our pack. He is also a Shinese, his momma was fawn Pekingese just like Punkin dog, and his daddy was a black and white Shih Tzu. He is unrelated to our girls, Winnie and Aurora. Winnie is a few months away from her third heat, but Aurora won't be ready for quite awhile. This little boy is going to bring a lot of awesomeness into our line. His nose is slightly longer, and his fur is very, very soft and does not need monthly trimming. I am hoping he will pass these traits on to his offspring.
