Liào Peijun is from a distant fishing town, but moved to and became a Jie Kingdom loyalist at a young age. He grew up to be a powerful fist based warrior, eventually earning the favor of Jiequan after winning a few tournaments. Despite his strength, Peijun has a shy demeanor, which is often mistaken for stoicism, and his strive to become stronger has lead to him having a low opinion of himself.
He has a dependency on having a strong leader, and once he finds one, he often mimics their poise to appear confident. The visor he wears can emote for him in lieu of him speaking. And when he does speak, he's remarkably quiet. The talismans attached to the visor are from home, with handwritten prayers for both victory and a safe journey.
He's personally invited into New Kunlun by Jiequan himself. While he treats this as a great honor, he had put his trust into the wrong mentor. Because he's not part of the Jie Empire by blood, he's seen as disposable to the Council Member. During his deep sleep, Jiequan infused his body with a destructive amount of transmutations, morphing him into a beast that Jiequan slew for his own cruel entertainment.
