Jonathan Kane's February - "Gripped"
Thanks for playing that Peg Simone song. I had never heard of her, but her version of When the Levee Breaks was pretty great. The two songs she has up on Soundcloud are pretty good too.
thrilled that you dig it, thefruitingbodies!! Peg Simone is one of thee most talented, skilled, deep, and feeling women i have ever seen pick up a guitar, and/or met. it's easy to believe in - and love - someone who is that innately talented, and that dedicated to her own thing... (i also feel privileged to now call her a friend.)
you want her 2010 release, Secrets From The Storm - trust me, it's so deep that you won't ever let it go.

Ms. Simone also plays with Jonathan Kane's February... hang on, will post some, cuz they are that good!
