I'll give my answer here: I'm not in support of it given that I believe that baptism needs to be a conscious decision. That said, I'm not opposed to infant/child dedications.

Edit: I had previously said that I'm not stalwart in my view, but what I should have said was "I am willing to reconsider if I can see a good arguements otherwise", because THAT is where I'm at.

Lutherans (along with many other Christians) practice pan-baptism, that is, baptism for all people. This describes matters far more accurately than "pedo-baptism," which those who practice believers' baptism (as they call it) label it.
