I've been binge watching horror films for the past week and it's pretty fucking sad how terrible these new movies are executing horror. Yes, let me run up the fucking stairs when the killer is running after me only to deal with either jumping out the window or being a dumbass and hiding under the bed. The first place you look for an idiot who ran up the stairs is under the goddamn bed. Don't even get me started on these shitty jumpy and ghost movies -- these people stay in their haunted homes and subject themselves to the ghosts messin' with them and cry when their family dies. Bring back gore or physiological thrillers where the plot twist isn't so easy to spot and the killer actually gets away, because you can turn on the tv and see someone gettin' away with it despite all the evidence saying they did. I just want to see a ton of blood or a serious mind fuck movie that doesn't have shitty actors. Is that too much to ask?
