Xiaoxing was under the belief that Wukong like knew Macaque but didn’t like like-like him, y’know? So finding that picture was just a whiplash for him like a “oh my parents did know each other more than I thought…”

And while there are pictures of Wukong in their house, it’s not like A LOT,,, so Xiaoxing didn’t realize that they had a deeper bond than just acquaintances💃💃💃
