is this indoor or outdoor gatherings? are polo shirts allowed? or what? -- business casual to me = button/collared shirts, dress slacks and either that pair of Blundstones, or a pair of Docs for the sake of comfort plus a pen and a wallet

It’s actually a two-parter. Part one probably leans more on the formal side of business casual (though in past years I haven’t cared because was still a “youth”).

Part two has a polo for sale as the conference “tee” so I imagine they’re allowed.

On the body? The fire would definitely destroy that. Unless you're talking about leaving the body exposed to the elements—that depends. If left out long enough, any prints will be rendered unusable. It's actually pretty difficult to lift usable prints from objects that have even just been lying around a house. You don't even need to use bleach, really, as just wiping down the surface should smear the prints enough.

That would be... interesting? ;-) My dearest of dear friends have never asked me to wear a dress when I had to stand and be an attendant at their wedding. I matched their colours with my dress jacket and pants and all was good. ;-)

Yeah.  We tried to have that conversation.  She does not want me up there in a suit. Cuz, you know, I'm not a man. Sigh.  I have no idea how to explain it to her.  It started out with the cut of the dress to me trying to be more honest about the anexity the idea brings to her saying I must be uncomfortable with my body to not being in the wedding and just attending as a guest to me taking pictures back to me attending.

She brought that up yesterday and I pretty much ignored it because I don't know how else to explain it to.  I'm not even sure she wants to hear it in the first place, with makes the whole thing so much more annoying.

And, my dearest friends would never ask that of me, either.  Neither would my little sister.  It's just her.  Oh and my mom doesn't see a problem with it, I just need to suck it up and wear the damn dress.

of course mayo is for fries! mayo + fresh cut fries = awesome dance on tastebuds and all. Regrets to the canned mushrooms but… the fries! :D:D:D:D (nom nom)
