Hi! Sorry if this sounds stupid but i thought you might know..I’m new to pocket camp and the last event was my first one - and I have absolutely no clue what the event materials are for? (The dew leafs and now the wedding bells) are there special items that can be crafted at some point? Or are they just collectibles that you can sell?
Oh hey, don't worry, the question isn't stupid at all! I was confused at first, too. The materials are solely for quests, actually! Where you find the daily jobs, and Isabelle jobs, and all that stuff, there are monthly jobs! The more you get, the more you unlock, and that is it. No crafting, no selling, just the job for the month.
However, to unlock the last bits, mostly a big thing which this month would be a wedding arch, you have to collect most if not all the event materials. This means you have to join in on all three events: the flower one at the start of the month, the fishing one in the middle, and then the gyroid one at the end, and play them mostly to completely through.
The Events all have a 3-4 hour rhythm btw if you want to get the maximum out of it! Flowers are growing at that rate, fishes grespawning too. Gyroids collecting kinda works with that rhythm too, but the digging site is your true friend there.
I've been playing it quite some time, and the game has a clear pattern you can follow with everything mostly.
