A low rumble settles in his chest as he looks up at the Geomijul leader’s right hand. It’s strange, truly, having someone that can see through him anymore. At least, in this type of way. He’s had no doubt the Geomijul have been able to figure out anything and everything about him given their vast network of information.
But he’s closed off completely the moment he donned the name Jin Kuwana. There was nothing authentic about himself anymore as there’s no need to be. He’s nothing more than a weapon of justice now, there’s no need for frivolous emotions.
And yet, as Han moves closely to him, asks him if he can help with his loneliness, takes his face in his hand, he feels his façade begin to slip.
Jin’s had no doubt that Yuu Kitakata would live on somewhere in the darkest corners of his psyche, but he wasn’t prepared for him to come forth, even remotely. Especially not for the younger man.
Gulping thickly, he gives a slight nod in consent as he doesn’t trust his voice.
