I Solemnly Swear...

 Yesterday we completed our 2 and a 1/2 month training and took the oath of "being owned by the U.S. Government" ...I mean now we are officially Peace Corps Volunteers! 

The ceremony was nice. I sang the national anthem and a Malagasy song with Ryan. And my buddy Max made a speech in Malagasy! 

The ceremony was at the U.S. Ambassador's house. There was a magnificent view of Antananarivo, as well as yummy food...that gave half of us food poisoning! 

This weekend, we are all shipping off to our various sites around the island. I love everyone from Stage 46 and I will miss everyone so much! But I know that we will all do amazing things in our villages! I'm glad we were able to spend our last few days together vomiting from food-poisoning. The bonding never ends!
