I’m giving myself a 24 hour delay on the author reveals. It’ll now take place at 11:59pm EST December 7, because Reasons.

Be sure to check out the collection of fics and give out some comments, because there have been some new treats posted since the works were revealed!

Some updated information about treating under the cut:

I’m aiming for everyone to get, in addition to their Official Gift, a little something extra, even if it’s just a drabble, so I’m gonna post a list of the people who haven’t got an extra treat yet and update it until everyone’s got a treat!

Treats aren’t mandatory tho so if people are a bit exhausted w/ fic writing already, no worries. I’ve got a couple drabble ideas myself already and I can turn out drabbles like no one’s business!

It’s a week till work reveals, and in the meantime the collection is still open if you want to write treats for friends. Treats can be any length at all, and I’m aiming to get a spreadsheet together in the next few days (once all assignments are in) to see if we can get everyone a little treat, even just a drabble per. 

if you’ve signed up, this is your reminder that the peaky blinders exchange deadline is next Friday (November 22)

you can still tweak dialogue, add scenes, and other stuff between Nov 22 and fic reveals no Nov 29, but you should have a publishable fic of 500 words or more by Nov 22 or you will be defaulted

anybody (whether they signed up or not) can write extra gifts aka treats for any requests that catch their eye. (view request prompts here)

If you have signed up for the Peaky Blinders Exchange: Round 2, then check your emails or your AO3 accounts, because assignments are out! Some things to keep in mind:

you only have to write ONE story of at least 500 words 

you only have to write about ONE of the relationships your recipient asked for

the details that your recipient asked for are OPTIONAL--they may have asked for “Tommy & None” and only written “please write about Tommy buying a puppy” but you can still just write about Tommy doing something else (I dunno, riding a horse) and it will pass. that said, please do try to make something your recipient likes, especially if they have given you multiple prompts or a likes list

to fulfill an assignment, go to “My Assignments”, find your Peaky assignment, and click the Fulfill button. That will take you to a page where you can post your fic

if you have any questions for your recipient, send them to me so that I can pass the question on anonymously and get an answer for you without spoiling the anon period

The Peaky Blinders Fic Exchange is a fun, Secret Santa kind of thing where every participant gets one gift of Peaky Blinders fanfiction. Every participant also has to write one fic gift for someone else. Fics must be complete and a minimum of 500 words long.

Signups open: October 12

Signups close: October 20

Assignments go out: October 21

Posting deadline: November 22

Story reveal: November 29

Author reveal: December 6

To sign up, you need an Archive Of Our Own (AO3) account. the Peaky Blinders Fic Exchange signups are well underway & I’m so excited! It’s a fic exchange, so every participant will get about a month to write one gift fic for someone else. And then at the end, they’ll receive one gift (minimum 500 words). Some people have told me they want to sign up but they’re not really sure how. No problem! This post will show you how.

You’ll need an archiveofourown account. If you don’t have one, no problem; you can either get one through the queue or skip the queue with an invitation from me (more info here).

Once you’re logged into your account, THIS LINK should take you to a signup page. 

Requests. 

These are the relationships that you’re interested in receiving fic about. You’ll need at least 3 of these, at most 10. Here, I’ll do an Alfie/Tommy example.

In the Fandom spot, select either Crossover Fandom or Peaky Blinders (TV). Alfie/Tommy isn’t a crossover pair, so I select Peaky Blinders (TV).
