“Meditation makes me crazy...crazier. I know it’s supposed to work wonders, especially in the Muggle world, but I just can’t get the hang of it. Have you ever tried it?”

“And a shirt inside out looks good now? I must’ve skipped then it was in good taste to dress like that.” Remus giggled on the chair and crossed his arms. “Weren’t you thinking about buying new clothes? Ones that are not over a decade old?”

“All you were ‘doomed’ with from birth was good breeding, high standing, and excellent cheekbones. Unfortunately, you seem content to destroy all of those. Except the last one, of course. You, thankfully, remain non-hideous.”

“Dearest, any…disease you might consider yourself plagued with, I promise you it did not come from this family. Too much exposure to those mudblood friends of yours however, that I would believe…”

“...Yes..” Remus replied watching his friend with amusement. “But I thought you did on purpose Pads, new style or something...”

“Your hair only got turned green because you were snooping in my room, trying to find your present early. You did this to you, Big Brother.” 

Remus then paused, held up his finger to hush Sirius once more, before continuing talking. “If you say James, because he’s spending too much time with Lily, I will hit you across your head with my book AND I don’t think you want that, because it’s 300 pages thick.”
