“Many of her drawings are so natural they almost look delicately torn out from her sketchbook and directly posted on her website; they never appear overworked. As a result, looking through her portfolio mirrors the feeling of flicking through a collection of sketches, where sometimes even the drawings from the alternate side of paper sneak through. Paula’s drawings feel personable and relatable. This is most obvious within the illustrator’s watercolour artworks, where her brushstrokes are evident and a warm colour palette is considered. With grace, colours are contrasted cautiously against one another to create landscapes or objects with contemplated simplicity.”

This makes me want to draw so badly, such beautiful imperfect illustrations, my absolute favourite type of style. An artist that inspires, great design?
