It has been an exciting day of shopping for me today. Although it started out rough, with being stuck in a traffic jam for what seemed to be forever, it quickly got better from there. I went back to the mall where I bought a dress a few months ago. The lady in the store even recognized me and we had a long discussion about models, prints and colors before I finally decided on getting three new dresses. The thing is that I really like the model of my old dress, but how fun can it be to have the same dress in just different prints? So I compromised. One of the new dresses is very similar to my old one, another one has a new print so I don't think you would notice it is the same model, and the third is a different model altogether. After picking these dresses the lady showed me another model that she told me could be worn also if I were to become pregnant. Weird. I told her it wasn't going to happen and she changed the subject to asking where I am from instead and then we went on talking about the Swedish royal family. Then it was time to pay her 600 baht and leave.

After this success I switched malls and went to the one next door where they have more shoes and bags instead. It is soooo practical to have the stores divided up by what they sell. And so I went around looking for some wedged heels, especially after having seen a way too expensive pair at the mall in my neighborhood on Monday. I knew I could find a cheaper deal at this place instead. And right I was. So I bought a pair of what I assume is fake suede and they look good on. I haven't worn heels in forever, but they make such a difference on one's posture. I think I will wear them a lot, they were pretty comfortable too.

Now I am home, and I have already tried it all on and I love the shoes and two of the dresses, the third dress I'm still not sure about. Unfortunately it is already dark out, so I wouldn't be able to get any good pictures of any of my finds, so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
