I recently went for a hike along one of the branches of Patriots Path in northern New Jersey.  I picked which branch after looking at a map, and saw that one path had quite a bit of info directing hikers to check out "Legend Rock, the most interesting rock outcrop in Mendham Township".  I could find almost nothing else about Legend Rock on the web, so I hiked the trail, and I found the rock:

While I can't necessarily say that I've seen a more interesting rock outcrop in Mendham Township (and therefore, can't dispute the claim on the Patriots Path map), I'm not sure this rock is interesting enough to be a special destination.
