if she wasn't currently passed out in the backseat, he would have killed his sister. one, for getting as drunk as she had. two, for making him be in an enclosed space with deanna. the last part wasn't technically holly's fault, patrick didn't have to offer deanna a lift - but he couldn't exactly leave her alone at the club. not when it was dangerous to leave her alone, not when it was the other woman who'd made sure his sister was going to get home safely. drumming his fingers mindlessly on the steering wheel, he finally let out the breath he'd been holding, deciding to break the awkward silence. "thank you for calling. for looking out for her, and not shoving her in the back of an uber or leaving her behind."
