Come winter, "The Switzerland of America," as Ouray is nicknamed, is wrapped in a blanket of crisp, white snow and offers plenty of activities and events to warm the hearts and souls of visitors of all ages.
The most popular winter attraction is the Ouray Ice Park. The Ice Park is home to more than 200 ice and mixed climbs, most within a 15-minute walk of the entrance. From mid-December through mid-March, Ouray is full of climbing activity.
