Far, far, far more is possible than most of us realize. There is much to learn that is usually kept secret. There is much to do that is usually not taught. And, there is much to become that is usually not dreamed of.
However, the first step in the journey is in many ways the most most difficult — the decision to move forward. After that, everything else is just putting one foot in front of the other.
Are we ready to commit to transforming ourselves? The more firmly we make this decision, the more that can help sustain us when we have difficult days in the future, and are thinking of skipping training days, using improper form while training, not pushing ourselves hard enough, wearing improper clothing, etc.
Before asking for a final commitment, we have to explain what the path of Eros is— a complete program for personal transformation. Most trainees begin by focusing on one or more of the key training areas, including … (did I mention that training is hot as fuck?)
However, all practices can be taken to a deeper level. The first level is that of physical development, where the trainee focuses on the physical changes that are possible, such as … The second level is that of mental development. The trainee continues physical training, but takes it to a deeper level by using the power of the mind to concentrate deeply on our chosen focus. The third level is that of spiritual development, which continues the physical and mental training, but takes them deeper yet by exploring the connection with spirituality. For example, how are we, why are we here, what is desire, and what is the relation between body and mind? And, is it a coincidence that the highest point of physical ecstasy is the same as the height of bliss felt during awakening experience (such as the ecstasies described by teachers from all the world’s wisdom traditions)?
Since every wisdom tradition has its own sacraments, and its own traditional clothing/undergarments, we will go through those next. However, first it needs to be said that the Path of Eros is a non-dogmatic tradition, meaning that we don’t tell anyone what to believe (though we feel strongly that there are certain questions that are useful to be asked).
The Path of Eros is compatible with all other traditions, faiths, and philosophies, so you can be a member of more than one, and don’t have to convert per se. however, if you want to become a trainee, we do ask that you make a firm commitment, that you will genuinely make your best possible effort to change, and will take seriously the suggestions we have. If training gets tough, or you get bored and lose focus, you’ll need to remember this moment extremely clearly: do you choose to become your new self, who you were always meant to be?
Mindfulness and mindlessness
MINDFULNESS AND MINDLESSNESS
A lot of people are interested in becoming mindless, in zoning out, in 'dumbing down and jocking up', etc. We are all for jocking up, but dumbing down is the opposite of what the Path of Eros is all about. When the word 'mindfulness' comes up, a lot of people instinctively have an unpleasant reaction, like they're going to be told to eat some awful-tasting bland food that's supposed to be good for them. In fact, mindfulness is a heck of a lot more similar to mindlessness than people realize.
For example, every wisdom tradition from around the planet (including all major religions, shamanic traditions, practices of energy work, tantric traditions, etc.) have ways of helping our minds calm down radically, often by concentrating on one thing. This isn't about distracting ourselves, or turning our brains off, however -- it's about waking us up at every level of our being. By going deep into whatever we're experiencing, we become far more alive, far more present, and far more deeply ourselves.
However, in the Path of Eros we encourage everyone to focus deeply on things they are already deeply interested in, such as concentrating deeply on a photograph they are strongly attracted to, or going deep into their physical sensations while stroking. Since these are extremely pleasurable activities, and ones that most people gladly do already, we can make our practices far more effective.
Ultimately, mindfulness and mindlessness share in common that they both aim to calm our minds, which tend to churn on on and on, or feel very ordinary and boring. Mindlessness aims to turn everything off and not feel anything, while our approach of mindfulness is the opposite -- we aim to turn ourselves on completely, by calming our ordinary minds and letting something far deeper emerge. As one final example, let's compare how most coaches might try to motivate trainees, vs. how we might do it. If a coach tells you to go work out while wearing a cock ring and a butt plug, you might find it hot, and it might motivate you for that day and when you think of it for decades later. We, however, might take a more empirical approach, meaning we would encourage you to find what works most effectively:
EXPERIMENT RELENTLESSLY ON YOURSELF, FINDING OUT WHAT COMBINATION OF UNDERGARMENTS MAKE YOU MOST EFFECTIVE IN LIFE: SILICONE COCK RING, METAL COCK RING, SILICONE BALL STRETCHER, SILICONE GLANS RING, A METAL BUTT PLUG, A RUBBER BUTT PLUG, AND/OR A PROSTATE MASSAGER.
While doing these tests, WHICH CAN BE DONE DAILY AND NIGHTLY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, pay close attention to how you feel as you go about your day and night. Don't wear them any more than feels comfortable or prudent (remember, silicone is much more comfortable than a tight metal ring), but notice the physical sensations, how you carry yourself, how well your workouts go, how well you stay focused on your goals, how much you remember your power, your goal, and where you are going.

How to stay motivated and focused
A lot of trainees ask me how they can stay motivated and focused. So I don’t have to keep repeating myself, here is what I would say in general, though it can be tailored to anyone’s specific needs.
It’s only natural to feel unmotivated and focused at times, especially during difficult circumstances, if we’re stressed out, not happy with ourselves, feel very far from our goals, etc. However, there are a lot of different ways to improve our motivation and focus.
Here are some key options. We strongly recommend doing all of them, but note that accountability (item #6) is especially important for all trainees.
1. Remember your ‘what’ and ‘why’
In other words, have a clear idea of what you want to become, and why. Focus on this very strongly when you first start training, because when our desire for change is the strongest, making it the ideal time to forge a very clear idea of what the new you will be. Come back to this idea every time you feel unmotivated or unfocused.
2. Use imagery
Choose 1 to 3 images or gifs that best represent what you want to become, and send them to me so we’re on the same page about what you want to become. Use one image for your phone background, desktop background, etc., and come back to this image every time you feel unmotivated or unfocused.
3. Use a touchstone
Ideally a physical object like a cock ring that can be worn very frequently, to remind yourself of your ‘what’ and ‘why’. You don’t have to wear the same thing all the time, and have to be careful not to wear a cock ring too long, especially if it is tight.)
4. Focused training sessions
Have regular sessions when you practice focusing on something specific, such as edging, manual cock stretching, pumping, looking at one particular image or gif, looking at an object like a candle, a cock ring, a dildo, etc. If thoughts come up, try not to follow them, and return to your focus. Start with 5 minutes, and gradually add more time. If you find it too difficult to stay focused, decrease the amount of time.
5. Use carrots.
We’re all human, and there are times when it can feel impossible to get into a mindset to train effectively, eat well, stay focused, etc. For these times, it can help to have some ‘carrots’ that you’ve defined ahead of time — rewards you will give yourself if you follow your training plan. We don’t advocate using sticks, because our bodies are not brute animals to be flogged and deprived — our bodies are precious vehicles that allow us to learn all the lessons that this challenging world have to offer.
Instead of punishing yourself by giving in to temptations (and dealing with the guilt you give yourself for straying from your path), you could use a system of rewards that you choose and write down. For example, for following your training plan well for two days, you could give yourself an extra 30 minutes of edging. For following your training plan well for a week, you could have a cheat meal (which is actually beneficial if you are strict about your diet the rest of the week). For following your plan for a month, you could get yourself another training item (like a new cock ring, butt plug, pump, etc.), a new item of clothing (swimsuit, a nice shirt, some slutty shorts, etc.), or whatever works for you.
6. Accountability
If we end up occasionally straying from your training plan, that’s okay, but without accountability to anyone we can just keep giving in over and over. Before long, we end up totally off our training plan, and back where we started. Instead, all trainees in the Path of Eros are expected to let their coach know whenever they stray from their training plan. There will be no guilt tripping or judgment, it’s all about trying to solve problems and improve lives.
7. Just do it
It’s easy to get overwhelmed by difficult things can seem in our mind, such as doing an intense workout, cardio, trying a new type of cock training, sticking to our diet, etc. However, that feeling of dread, overwhelm, and fatigue is usually much worse than if we just went ahead and did it. So, instead of thinking about the task, or trying to decide if we want to do it or not, or giving up entirely, just go ahead and do it.
So, that is the basic overview of some key ways we can help stay motivated and focused. Let me know if you have any questions, as I can elaborate on all these things and more.

Supercharging the Libido
A trainee asked how he can supercharge his libido, and this was my response:
There are countless ways to supercharge the libido. Here are some but I can give more anytime you're ready to level up.
1) Pick three photos that are most stimulating for you, and make them your desktop background, phone background, etc., and tell me which ones and why.
2) Increase how long you go without cumming by 30% (up to 2 1/2 weeks), but still stroke every day.
3) Increase how long you stroke for each day by 30%, but don't go over the edge until the end of your Ripening cycle.
4) Add a new kind of stimulation, e.g. a new cock ring, weighted glans ring, ball stretcher, pump, massager, etc.
5) Start taking a stimulant (such as cialis, viagra, burro en primavera, titan pills, etc.) during your weekly extended stroking session(s). Also take one at a random time during the week (such as putting one somewhere at random in your pill organizer, if you use one).
Or ask a friend, husband, housemate, etc. to give you a pill at three random times during the week. Two of these times, he will give you a relatively inert pill like a sugar pill, echinacea, or 5-HTP, and one time per week he will give you a stimulant pill like cialis etc. The two kinds of pills would ideally look similar enough that you wouldn’t know which is which.
Consider it your homework to do all of them (as long as #5 is not an issue for you medically, of course). Let me know how it goes.
An Update for Trainees and Prospective Trainees
As always, a lot of people have been asking questions. I love it when people are curious about the Path of Eros, our various training methods, and how we can turn ourselves into everything we truly can be. I love it when people are committed enough to want details on how to put together a training plan, how to do various exercises, what kinds of equipment can help, or any number of other topics.
However, I have been spread far too thin by the many things that are competing for my time. The more trainees I take on, and the more people who are interested in possibly becoming trainees, the less time I am able to give to any one person. Besides, I am very busy with writing projects, and my own workouts and self-training, as well as dealing with a sick pet.
Please continue to send me questions. If it is a topic that various people are asking about, or that I feel is important to discuss, I will post a response on my Tumblr blogs so anyone can read it. However, I generally won’t have time to send individual responses or put together custom training plans.
I have tried to lay out our training methods and principles clearly enough in my blogs on Tumblr and LPSG, so that dedicated people will be able to put together their own detailed training plan, and figure out how to do most of the exercises. Because few people have the patience to read an entire book on the subjects being covered, the posts are structured in a holographic manner, meaning that each part reflects the whole thing.

I try to go into more detail about each of those sub-areas and exercises in other blog posts, in photo galleries on LPSG, or in posts at trainingaccountability.tumblr.com.
