I was going to draw Saint-petersburg, which I miss so much, and old kitchen, and this 90s vibe, but got stuck. So here are simplier drawings, more about emotions and detailes
Also I've never sucseeded in making the art series in one style, and I'm happy about these pictures ā they are kinda close to my fav traditional technic with gouache, oil pastels and pencils

The town on the Devildom river, nestled inside the eastern Steppe is quiet place in the middle of nowhere. You are an academic from the Capital, invited to the town by a man you have never met, and you seek to discover what makes you so important. Shortly after your arrival, a deadly epidemic breaks loose in the town, and you are one of the few tasked with investigating the new plague. However, there is more to the Town-On-Devildom than meets the eye, and tangled web of intrigue and political deceit and impossibilities lies between you and the cure.

The OutsidersĀ - the counterparts to Pathoās healers, all people called to the Town at the same time who work to cure the plague in their own ways.
MC, The OblationĀ - A blend of both the Haruspex and the Bachelor, they have both Artemyās character arc and ideals (love, hope, grappling with the past vs the future) and Daniilās newcomer status and resistance to the arcane. They receive a letter that claims to be from the Mayor of the Town-on-Devildom that begs for them to come. However, they find that the Mayor has been missing for some time, and that his son, Diavolo, is in charge of the townās council. A councilman named Lucifer asks for their help in some matters with his younger brother, but they quickly come to to find the beginnings of a plague outbreak. Despite MCās best efforts, it just seems like the Town-On-Devildom has sunk its fangs into them and refuses to let them go. In order to cure the plague, MC needs to find a way to make all seven brothers cooperate again while dodging the justice of the Capitalās inquisitor.
Solomon, The TheurgistĀ - A blend of both the Bachelor and the Haruspex, he has Daniilās composure, aloofness, and lofty ideals and Artemyās status as someone familiar with the townsfolk and knowledge of things beyond the realm of science. Solomon is MCās closest ally in solving the plague, although he tends to speak in riddles.
Simeon, The EidolonĀ - A mysterious man who appears with his young ward, Simeon is the closest counterpart to the Changeling. Simeon posesses a strange miraculous holy magic unheard of in the Town-On-Devildom, but this makes him all the more distrusted by the townsfolk. Never lies, but never speaks the whole truth. He and his ward are from a place both outside of and within the Town called the Celestium.
The Bound - MCās bound, the seven brothers.
LuciferĀ - Councilman Lucifer is one of the three town leaders. He owns a house in town, his family home, but rarely stays there. He helps MC when possible, but his work during the epidemic to keep the town in check (and failing) leaves him unable to do much, and his loyalty to Diavolo comes above all else.
MammonĀ - A local conman who has run out of cons, Mammon is disliked in the town. Always penniless (though who knows what he spends it on), Mammon is in some debt at the start of the game with some of the local women, and MC is asked by Lucifer to make sure he hasnāt gotten himself killed. Luckily for him and unfortunately for the town, his debtors are some of the first plague victims MC finds. Likes to help MC, but not the most reliable.
LeviathanĀ - Levi is the only one who can be found in the brothersā family home, holed up in his room. He spends his days alone, disliking and fearing the company of others. Possesses particular insights into the town if you can convince him to tell you much.
SatanĀ - Satan wants little to do with his councilman brother and was the first to move out, having a small home on the opposite side of town filled with his beloved books. Eager to help MC, but his bitter family ties hold him back.
AsmodeusĀ - Another brother who moved out, Asmodeus considers himself a big fish in a tiny pond. Itās his home in which Solomon stays, and he extends to offer to MC, but is more concerned with protecting himself than aiding the two with the cure.
BeelzebubĀ - Beel works as a local laborer, if only to have more money for food to sate his endless appetite. When the plague hits and food begins to be rationed, he is one of the best sources of trade as heās desperate for any kind of nuts or beans MC can find, and will happy trade them any manner of drugs and ammo.
BelphegorĀ - A key to solving the mystery of the plague, Belphegor was imprisoned days before the start by the council for objecting to their plans: release the plague that was sealed to bring the crisis with the Celestium to a head and force some kind of reckoning. Belphegor hates and mistrusts MC, believing them to be an agent oh the council. He will lie to and manipulate MC, and MC needs to find a way to get him to tell them what he knows.
OTHERS
DiavoloĀ - The Mayorās son, Diavolo is a kind and gregarious man who cares greatly for the townsfolk. He is the head of the council which formed in his fatherās absence to govern the town. He offers advice to MC, but in truth he is responsible for the crisis as he saw releasing the plague from the earth as the only way to bring peace to the Town and the Celestium, provided either of them survive.
BarbatosĀ - The third member of the council, Barbatos is a polite man who speaks in vague riddles. One never knows if he is helping or leading you astray. Does much of Diavoloās hands-on work.
LukeĀ - Simeonās ward, a young boy who fulfills Claraās role of standing around places and giving vague and often harsh advice to MC. Is trying his best to help but his manners need some work.
MichaelĀ - The inquisitor, sent from theĀ āCapitalā to oversee the Townās fate. All chafe under his watchful eye. In truth, he is from the Celestium, and moreover he is one of the only ones aware that the world they live in is a simulacrum, a game. Heās basically just Aglaya.
The Icon and the OperatorĀ - The AUās answer to the Executor and the Tragedian, and Karasu and the Little Dās, respectively. The Icons appear as figures in black tagged cloaks and beaked masks, safety gear from the towns factory as they become orderlies for the sick. Three bundles of herbs arranged to look like crow feet hand from each neck. The Operators are strange tall black-clad figures in hats, shrouded in miasma, representing a pawn in the games script and stand-ins for the characters. These figures exist outside of the world of the Town-On-Devildom and within the world of the game, often speaking past MC to the player.
