I need some advice from my DM/GM people. One of my players cast a spell called Aboleth's Lung on a circus performer for fun, and if it wasn't for some benevolent GMing and quick thinking on the party's part, that performer would've died. Is it too much of a punishment to have the head of the circus sneak in and attempt to coup de grace that PC while they're resting? They need to have some consequences for what is essentially attempted murder, but I'm not sure if I'm going too far. For my pathfinder-heads, they're in Irrisen and need to learn they can't just fuck around.
