La blanca nieve y la purpúrea rosa, que no acaba su ser calor ni invierno, el sol de aquellos ojos, puro, eterno, donde el amor como en su ser reposa;

la belleza y la gracia milagrosa que descubren del alma el bien interno, la hermosura donde yo discierno que está escondida más divina cosa;

los lazos de oro donde estoy atado, el cielo puro donde tengo el mío, la luz divina que me tiene ciego;

el sosiego que loco me ha tornado, el fuego ardiente que me tiene frío, yesca me han hecho de invisible fuego.
