This AU was officially claimed and created by me (Laya63) on October 22, 2016. I am REALLY excited to tell yall about this!!! I've been searching for hours, and hours, and hours, an now I can say that my AU is safe with me! It is completely, and utterly my original AU. No other idea has been thought about this. This AU is called... Pastale! Reason behind the name? Yes! So you know what pastel colors are, right? I'm assuming that you do. If you don't just Google it. This AU is focused on colors. Hence the name Pastale, instead of Pastel. Get the reference? Good, let's move on to the basic ideas. This might sound wierd, but I've always been fascinated by the fact that some humans see colors different than others. This is also known as color blindness. After researching for it for a couple of hours, I've learned that there are 8 types of color blindness. What game has 8 boss monsters? Undertale! Well, more than 8. Whatevs. This got me thinking. Each boss monster could have one type of color blindness. For example: Sans: Monochromat - Typical Papyrus: Trichromat- Deuteranomaly (low green) Toriel: Dichromat - Tritanopia (no blue) Asriel/Flowey: Monochromat- Atypical Mettaton: Dichromat - Protanopia (no red) Undyne: Anomalous Trichromat - Protanamaly (low red) Asgore: Anomalous Trichromat - Tritanomaly (low blue) Alphys: Dichromat - Deutanopia (no green) ALL other monsters: Trichromat - Deuteranomaly (low green) But why did I not include Muffet?! She's a boss monster!!! Uh, yeah. Spiders are already color blind. She sees whatever a spider sees, idk. Frisk is NOT colorblind. Chara isn't either. Nor were any of the other six humans. Frisk is special, because she is the only living thing in the Underground that is not colorblind. WHERE U GETTIN DIS FROM? I AM SO CONFUZLED. HALP. This website might explain it better: http://www.iamcal.com/misc/colors/ Ok, so all the monsters are color blind. THAT'S IT?!?! NOOOOOOO! There's SO MUCH MORE!! Each monster has their specific struggles because of their type of color blindness. I'm not gonna scrape the tip of the iceberg, I'm gonna dive to the bottom of the ocean and put effort into this. And also PLEASE DO NOT copy or steal my ideas. I've done a crap tona research on human eyesight, and I don't want it to go to waste. Trust me when I say that I will catch any thieves. This is gonna be a really interesting AU, I will assure you! And no, I am not colorblind, nor is anybody in my family. I'm quite curious... are any of you colorblind in any way? If so, PLS TELL ME I WANT INFO :D 😊😸💜
