~ How do you learn acceptance? ~ Receiving something as it is, soaking it in without any desire to change it; how true it is, acceptance is more like an art than an ability. Going with the flow is often described as passive, yet the creative capacity to allow our self to surrender to the process takes constant courage and absolute mind/body/spirit control. Still, we can find our self feeling challenged in circumstances where blind cooperation feels disheartening; leaving us illuminated with a passion to stand our ground. While it is essential for our well-being that we stay strong within our soul's beliefs, it must also be said that we are given forced opportunities of cooperation in order to help us expand our values. When we practice the ability to simply absorb our life and surroundings as they are, we discover just how often our voice is shaped by the power of others.
