@partytwiceâ inquired: "oooh..." her lips are turned upwards in a sly smile as she looks at miranda with half-lidded eyes, lavishly looking her up and down. though, probably not the best to mention that she's had a couple of drinks and that was the reason for her... honesty - but what did that matter? "that's a new dress, right? i like the frills, it brings out your gills, girl!" đđŤđđŻđŹđŞđđąđ˘đĄ - Always Accepting
As matter of fact, yes, it was a new dress. As new as any could be, when Miranda ( like so many others who had more money than they should ) tended to only wear an outfit once before retiring it - and Miri did think she looked quite cute in it. Plenty of room to show off her scales and flaunt what she had, while still being cute enough to fit Miriâs standards for what she could be seen in.
But... That same pride faltered with Pollyâs smile, that gaze tracing up and down Mirandaâs figure. The fluff that came to her fins was only natural, the same with the warm heat budding upon her cheeks and turning those pink scales a darker red, the cream of her fins flushing pink. Her tail, oh so intuned to her emotions, twitched its tip, holding itself close to Miri. A shy hand -- needing something to do! -- carefully tucked a strand of hair back into place. Slit pupils going round glanced away, staring at a particular spot on the ground below.
Wasnât it inappropriate that Miranda wanted to hear more, to let Polly tell her more, whispered into her fins? That, by sheer suggestion, her mind now pondered Polly touching over the bare scales revealed by her dress? And, of course, the allusion to her gills just making Miranda wonder more --- Yes, Miranda reassured herself. It was quite inappropriate, since Polly was just her lovely friend, who admired Miriâs style and grace, as anyone would! What if Polly took Mirandaâs compliments as suggestions of something more? That would surely be just an embarrassment waiting to happen!
âOh - Thank you, Polina! This one I actually did pick out myself, you know I donât bother straining myself with such trife matters, but I thought it was so delightful that I just had to obtain it! Perhaps I should wear it more, since you think it suits me.â
And cue Miri being too flustered to even notice that Polly was drunk.  Â
